CuddleCot™ Cooling Cot
Dealing with the death of a baby is an incredibly difficult event for families and bereaved families should be given the option of spending time with their baby. This is usually in the hospital maternity/ labour ward or hospice, but increasingly babies are also being allowed home.
Cooling the baby is absolutely essential. This is where the CuddleCot comes in. The CuddleCot cools to an ideal temperature for preserving baby without being too cold for the parents. In use in thousands of hospitals across the world, the CuddleCot allows the family to spend precious time with their baby, precious moments where every minute counts.
How it Works
The CuddleCot cooling pad is placed in any Moses basket, crib or bed. It is connected by a specially insulated hose and is quietly cooled using the CuddleCot cooling unit.
The Soft Cooling Pad
The CuddleCot's thin, soft cooling pad is placed on top of the soft mattress which ensures baby is fully cushioned and comfortable. The CuddleCot system comes with two sizes of cooling pad for premature and full-term babies.
The Shnuggle™ Moses Basket
The CuddleCot is designed to be used with the specially adapted Shnuggle Moses basket, provided exclusively by Flexmort. The basket has been specially moulded to accommodate the cooling pad and hose, as well as provide hospitals with an easy to clean Moses basket, thereby reducing any infection control concerns.
At-Home Use
A growing number of hospitals are allowing families to take their baby home to spend time with them before the funeral. The CuddleCot is portable and simple to use with minimal professional instruction. In addition, the CuddleCot allows you to cool the baby at home in their own cot, crib or Moses basket.

Quiet and Discreet
The CuddleCot cooling system utilises cutting edge technology, does not use traditional refrigeration (or need refrigerant gas). The CuddleCot cooling technology is also very quiet; in fact, it produces a similar sound to a small desk fan.
Portable
The CuddleCot is very small and very light, weighing only 3.8kg (or 8.3lbs). The CuddleCot packs away into a small bespoke carry case that fits inside the Shnuggle™ Moses basket, making it easy to store or transport when not in use.
Easy to Clean
The CuddleCot is easy to keep sterile, with only the cooling pad and bedding coming into contact with the baby. The bedding can be washed and the cooling pads can be easily cleaned with any plastic safe sanitizer or hot soapy water.

Easy to Maintain and Service
The CuddleCot has few moving parts, unlike traditional refrigeration, which lowers the risk of a breakdown. If there are any issues, the cooling system can easily be posted to our manufacturing centre for repair.
The CuddleCot is tested to global safety standards including CE certification & UL 61010-1:2012 CAN/CSA-C22.2 NO. 61010-1-12.

The CuddleCot™ is provided with a 12-month warranty (your product must be registered). After that, we are pleased to offer a range of enhanced service and support options for the CuddleCot.

We offer a full visual, functional and integrity test and check service at our centre in Gloucester. Our fixed price includes courier collection and delivery.
