How does the CuddleBlanket work?
Low Maintenance, Discreet and Cost Effective
The CuddleBlanket utilizes a thermoelectric cooling process rather than standard refrigeration, meaning it is low maintenance, very quiet and cost effective compared to traditional methods of cooling.

The CuddleBlanket system consists of a small cooling unit that circulates distilled water and purification tablet, or Flexmort pre made ColdFlow 2 (UK), through a cooling pad that can simply be placed on top of the deceased, either in a bed or a cot. The insulated blanket provided is then laid on top of the deceased.
Plug and Go Individual Body Cooling Solution
Providing instructions are followed correctly the CuddleBlanket does not need to be drained for up to 6 months, allowing the CuddleBlanket solution to be used as a plug and go individual body cooling solution.

Unlike refrigerated beds or coffin coolers, the CuddleBlanket is, portable, flexible and does not ice up.
Its lightweight, user-friendly design supports those who play a role in the care of the bereaved in upholding dignity for patients after death.
Five Easy Steps to Portable Body Cooling

- Insert hose into unit and pad
- Lay cooling pad over deceased
- Lay insulated blanket over cooling pad
- Turn unit on
- Add distilled water and purification tablet
